5th January: Epiphany
The three kings gallop into the square of Fornalutx where the village children and parents are waiting, expectantly. Presents are distributed and a great time is had by all - an ideal way to spend a second Christmas!

Mid January : Festival of the Animals (normally the Sunday before January 17th).
Pets of all kinds are brought by their proud owners to be blessed by the local priest. Local horsemen and women gallop through the village in a “reach for the hoop” competition. The night before, we celebrate our four legged friends with a BBQ in the village square.

May : Moors and Christians (second Monday in May)
When locals commemorate the day when the people of Soller successfully repulsed a seaborne attack by the Moors on May 11th 1561. Local people dress up as Moors or Christians for a battle on the beaches of the Port which continues into the town of Soller. Colourful, noisy and very authentic.


August 24th : Sant Bartolomeu
If you like fireworks, noise, danger and devil worship, this is for you! Celebrate Patron Saint of Soller, Saint Bartholomew, in a night time spectacular of hell, fire and brimstone.

September 8th. Fornalutx Fiesta.
Only those villages which can prove that they have a tradition of the “Running of the Bulls” for more that two hundred years are allowed to run with the bulls in Spain these days. Come and join the running of the bull through the streets of Fornalutx and three days of folk dancing, local tradition and rock bands.
