The name "Reus" distinguishes the family who once owned this handsome house. Senor Reus made his fortune in the early nineteenth century by exporting citrus fruits from Mallorca to France.
He introduced Parisian touches to the interior of the house, adding extra elegance to the otherwise traditional, Mallorquin architecture and furnishings. It is this, unique character which the current British owners, Sue and Nick Guthrie, seek to preserve.
Each room has been tastefully restored and designed to offer comfort and style. Enjoy our famous breakfasts, sufficient to keep even the most robust walkers sustained for the day.
Taste the local Mallorquin wines while sitting on our candlelit terrace and watching the sunset over the Tramuntana.. Enjoy dinner made with fresh, local produce. In winter, relax at night in our elegant "sala", equipped with an abundant library and an open fire.

El nombre de 'Reus' remite a la familia a quien perteneció esta preciosa casa. El señor Reus hizo fortuna a principios del siglo XIX con la exportación de cítricos de Mallorca a Francia.
Introdujo algún toque parisiense en el interior de la casa que construyó a su regreso, añadiendo una elegancia suplementaria a la tradicional arquitectura y al mobiliario mallorquín. Es este carácter único que los actuales propietarios, Sue y Nick Guthrie, procuran preservar.
